Router
I already knew I needed a new router. Since this sucker was new it’s irritated me. Earlier this week it wouldn’t let me do wireless unless I hard restarted it every couple of hours. So, instead, I plugged in with the ethernet cable. Forgetting it still had to go through the POS router. (I’m a genius, shut up) Internet wasn’t that great but it was better.
Until this morning when it took 2 minutes just to load Google (my favorite “am I actually having issues” test page). It was then that I realized it was still going through the POS router. (Even though I’m still half asleep. See? Genius.) So I unplugged it and plugged directly into the cable router.
Holy shit. I actually have fast internet.
I’ll be buying a new wireless router tonight. Anybody have an awesome wireless router suggestion for me? If you say, “Belkin” I will choke you with a firewire cable. I think I may just say eff it and go with the Apple one.
